Helping You Thrive Through Change
Hi!
I'm Phaedra, or Coach PK if you've found your way here via Instagram. I'm a self proclaimed endurance junkie and strength nerd. I am competitive age group triathlete and runner with more than 25 years of running experience and more than 20 years of triathlon experience. I'm a NAASFP-certified run coach, an NCCP-trained triathlon coach, a Can Fit Pro-certified personal training specialist and a DTS Level One Exercise Coach. I've been coaching people to reach their running and triathlon goals since 2014.

My coaching focuses on intermediate level athletes. Athletes that have some racing experience and are looking for some help unlocking that next level in their performance. My specialty is working with peri and post menopausal women. I work with women that are passionate about their sport, whether that's triathlon, running, cycling or a mix of all three.

If you're here, chances are you are a dedicated, driven woman that is no stranger to tough training blocks. But perhaps lately you've noticed something is off. Your body is not responding the way it used to. Recovery takes longer. Energy fluctuates for no clear reason. You're still training hard but not seeing the results you used to and you're wondering if it's all just a part of getting older.

Sound familiar?

The truth is, most endurance training advice wasn’t built with menopausal women in mind. But that doesn’t mean your best days are behind you. In fact, with the right support, they might just be ahead.

I coach midlife women who want to stay strong, go fast, and feel good doing it. My approach blends smart strength work, performance-focused endurance training, and a deep respect for how hormones, recovery, and life stress all intersect. In this phase of life, I've found that the biggest struggle outside of all the physical things that happen during the menopause transition, is accepting that some days your body is just going to tell you NO. Learning to adapt your training and, more importantly BEING OK with doing so is something I work on with regularly with my athletes.
You don’t need to slow down. You need a plan that fits who you are today - not who you were ten years ago.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck, and you’re ready to train with more confidence, clarity, and support - I’m here for it. Let’s rework the playbook and build a training life that actually works for you so you can continue to chase your finish line goals.
